Let’s take the step today by supporting black creatives, hearing their stories, and putting an end to the fear blacks in America feel on the daily. I hold myself accountable for not doing more to spread this awareness in the past, but I’m taking the commitment to do more and do better today and in the future. Let’s not hold back our black communities from having the same opportunities people of privilege have by being quiet. Every voice, even the ones that are still learning, are important. I feel lucky to have worked with artists like Marcus and very glad to see that unique black voices are being heard through film and art, opening our eyes and hearts. And I want to spread this awareness even more.
