However, the vote for my favourite combination goes to the FUJIFILM X-H1 paired with the XF16-55mmF2.8. The reason is that these two work together superbly. I have always preferred the flexibility of zoom lenses, providing I don't compromise image quality and this, my workhorse lens, is just superb. Its versatile 24-83mm full frame equivalent focal length means that it's great for landscapes and portraits, the fast aperture of F2.8 throughout the focal range is useful for portraits and creative shots, it's weather resistant, very robust and delivers excellent image quality - it's the zoom that thinks it's a prime! However, in an attempt to keep size, weight and price down there is one feature that was omitted, image stabilisation. Enter the X-H1 with its 5 axis, 5.5 stops IBIS meaning I can now hand hold down to ¼ second. But that's not the only benefit, it's very well built, has a beautifully quiet and soft shutter and its slightly bigger body with a comfortable and practical grip means it balances really well with the XF16-55mm.
