Malike Sidibe has been photographing the protests in New York City since George Floyd's death in Minneapolis last week. Sidibe, 23, was walking during a peaceful demonstration on the west side of Manhattan on May 31, looking to make pictures without signs, when he spotted two men, one of them with his fist in the air. "I started walking behind them to see if the other guy would do it. I wanted it to be organic so the picture would mean something to me," he says. "It felt like a perfect moment."
