That’s why, since I woke up to that horrifying video of George Floyd being murder in cold blood by a cop, it has been easier for me the re share on my stories people’s powerful words, images and illustrations that would speak to me heart, resonate with me and express my feelings. Growing up and living in France where racism and police brutality against persons of color is very much a thing and sharing the past 13 years of my life with a person of color I’m very much aware of racism. But it seems that it was enough for me to not be racist myself, when it shouldn’t be that way. This past few days has woken me up and made me realize that this is far from being enough. Not contributing to an injustice is not the same thing as standing against it. It’s time to educate myself on how to be anti-racist and how to fight racism. “ I will not let you do this alone.
