I’ll start by speaking from the heart, it’s easy for me these days to hide behind a well thought out post.
All I know for sure is that the difference between right and wrong is in front of us, now. Some of the closest people to me are a part of the very same community screaming justice. The same people who saw me in my moments of weakness and despair, offering their hand to walk me through to the other side. They saw pain and answered - without question, everytime.
It’s my turn to now to stand by them and by what is right.
Tomorrow I’m stepping away from all platforms to reassess my role to play moving forward and further educate myself.
