To my son who is now one month old,
What a year to be born. 2020 will be written in all our history books and I feel I have so much to teach you already. So many sad realities in the world. But I have hope. Social media is connecting your mom with people from around the world who are so educating on their personal stories. Ways that I can help teach as you grow. I want so much for you, my love. But most importantly, I want you to be strong for your peers. I want you to be able to stand up to injustice and fight for freedom. I want you to have a voice. And it starts from a young age. I promise to teach you as best I can. I know we can ascend to a place where we all love one another.
