It’s hard to put words together... but I think we can all agree that we can all do better in our daily lives.
In the midst of corona virus and being quarantined inside our homes, we have opened our eyes to things happening in the world, maybe even more so as we have been glued to our phones more than ever before and these things happening needs to stop. The racism needs to stop. The killing needs to stop. Justice needs to be served.
A couple months ago, in the first couple weeks of covid 19, I read this poem by Kitty O’Meara, and I have been thinking about it a lot this week as this is something that really needs justice to heal and NOW is that time!

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and
exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being,
and were still. And listened more deeply.

Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows.

And the people began to think differently. And the people healed.

And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and
heartless ways, the earth began to heal.

And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they
grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and
created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed. #blacklivesmatter #blm
