I will not watch people walk on the other side of the street when the see my husband because of their own ignorance, I will not watch a vacant taxi driver pass my husband because of his own ignorance, I will not watch another hotel employee ask my husband to leave the property unless he presents his room key after he states he is a hotel guest.... I will not watch another black person die at the hands of this system because of the ignorance of the entire country. I will not tell my children they have to expect to be treated differently than their OWN MOTHER because our skin is different colors.
