I have felt so heavy this week. Im finding the feelings of helplessness hard to bear. I know we are still in the world pandemic, but I could not stay at home today. We are far from immune to discriminatory state violence and racism here in the UK, so we need to come down hard with pressure on our elected officials, and work as hard as we possibly can to elect a committed anti-racist leader and governing party the next time we get the chance. And above all, we need to listen to our own black communities.
