It was much needed for so many reasons. But besides the obvious, it was also a weekend that brought back so many childhood memories for me. You see, this little mountain town, this little cabin that my grandfather built, was where I went every summer when I was young. It’s where I learned about nature and was taught about wildlife. Where I learned how to swim, how to fish and how bad wasps can sting. Most importantly, I learned the value of family time.
