If we can collaborate to make art, why can’t we collaborate to make PEACE????? My white allies who’ve worked with me before, are you enraged as well? Are you sharing these heart breaking stories with your other white friends? Calling local authorities to make changes in your respective communities? Contributing funds to initiatives that fight for justice amongst the black community??? I’m not asking you to become a social activist, I’m asking you to do the right thing. If you’ve benefitted from black culture (music, dance, fashion, athleticism, hair styles, art, etc.) why won’t you stand up for our lives? .
