Woke up to @aliwong and laughed then watched @近藤麻理恵 (and I overshare/comment on her Instagram about how i love her for putting such profound things into the world) then read my cookbook The book of greens by @jennlouis and dog eared a recipe (because that’s the best way to find it again, notes sticking out look messy) then I read an amazing article online from @espn that is the good stuff, the hopeful things we need to hear and know... then did a little browsing on @chairishco (one of my favs) and then went to cook corn (with @flowerbydrew towels and @goop for Greenpan) so that I could girl out on pinks and florals and then made my way back to the couch to eat my corn and watch @bravotopchef (because Meta eating is so lucky to do and my absolute favorite way to eat!) and then I thought I would tend to my new plant boyfriend who is “plectranthus” (that is his name as I am learning plant varieties in Latin) and then I thought I should definitely get back on that couch and watch The Wrong Missy because I wanted to laugh some more. But, I end the day thinking about the long breath held by all, wishing peaceful energy, and i think about life, looking at my favorite moon app (moon phases and lunar calendar) to see that we are waxing anew and the beautiful cycle begins again... it’s all in all, the perfect Sunday.
