"Inside Out was the first feature project I worked on as a story artist. Bing Bong has been one of my favorite Pixar characters since then. The story process at Pixar can sometimes be very frustrating and challenging because we push ourselves really hard. However, every time I think of Inside Out - Bing Bong always reminds me to have fun, to enjoy life, to be a kid again.⁣

As a foreigner, I try to bring different perspectives into our films. I'm glad API Heritage Month gives people who come from different countries an opportunity to learn from each other. I understand that it can be difficult to get a job in the U.S. My advice? Just don't give up. Spend time listening to yourself, understand your strengths and weaknesses, never stop learning, and be patient.
