Visionary, abstract piece by #HilmaafKlint from a group of her paintings called ‘The Ten Largest’ from 1907. These remind me of spring!
She wrote the following in a notebook about the instructions that she received for making this group of paintings: “It was not the case that I was to blindly obey the High Lords of the mysteries but that I was to imagine that they were always standing by my side.”
