Here are a few of the back exercises that I do daily to really help unload my spine and switch on my core. Breathing correctly is essential throughout as working the diaphragm is a great way to stabilizing your trunk.
1) Supported breathing 5-10mins
2) Unsupported breathing 5-10 breaths holding for 5 seconds
3) Roll ups - 5x each leg 5 second hold
4) Side bridges - 3 each side, 10 second holds
5) Quadruped Shin pushes - 5x 5 second holds.
The guys at @_cihp_ have helped me with my rehab and these coupled with some good strengthening exercises from my trainer @ben.shear have really helped my back.
