For as long as she can remember, @randahaddadin has sketched and doodled on herself. The idea of the permanence of art, summed up in the phrase Ars longa, vita brevis, is not what motivates Haddadin. On the contrary, she finds freedom in knowing that her works are ephemeral, destined to wash off in the shower. “This allows me to focus only on the process of creating itself; the lines, the feeling of the pens on my skin in that moment, without having to worry about the drawing later on, preserve it or sell it, like the regular artworks,” she explains. “The comfort of this temporariness allows me a lot of room to create without worry.
