アダム・シャンクマンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アダム・シャンクマンInstagram)「When we shot the great Jerry Stiller’s scenes in #Hairspray, we were on a hideous night schedule even though so much was interior, because of where we were shooting. Everyone was cranky and griping until the legend himself appeared prompting everyone to bow and scrape. Over the next 2 nights, Jerry was the most game, hilarious, present and engaged actor on that set. First he’d ask me if he could jump and when I said “of course!” He’d say “I can go higher next time!” We spoke all night between scenes about how proud he was of his son @benstiller and how thrilled he was to be working on this project after playing Wilbur in the original classic. He danced and sang his heart out, and at 830 am after shooting all night as we were heading into our last shots, I had to sheepishly wake him gently from his slumber on a pile of coats that had been fashioned into a little bed for him, and ask very politely if he would be open to doing some advance adr for the edit....and he sprang up and did it so brilliantly in 5 minutes I never replaced it, and it’s in the movie. Working with him was one of the great moments of a special time for me. I worshiped the guy. I was not worthy, but he made me feel like a trusted colleague of a million years. Jerry, I will miss you and the magic you gave us all from your joyous, loving heart. Be peaceful Mr Pinky. Have all the donuts you want. You deserve them all.」5月12日 8時15分
