Enchanting @kdhwillems and @duckiethot behind the scenes of our enticing collaboration with Tim Walker.
For the ‘Frozen Falls’ gown, chronophotographic lines of bird wing movements were lasercut from mylar and white cotton, to then be heat-bonded to hundreds of layers of two-toned copper dyed organza, to flow like a time-lapse motion.
For the ‘Seijaku’ plissé gown, a fine line print was printed on translucent organza to then be hand-plisséed, hand-stitched on transparent tulle, creating a moiré pattern in motion.
