Before Alex was born I had very clear that I wanted to educate my kids in love and respect for animals from the beginning. It is very important to me that they are the ones who decide if they want to eat meat or not, but I don’t fool them by calling dead animal meat hamburgers, nuggets,etc , Unfortunately I didn’t have this opportunity and although sometimes I eat salmon let's say it is the only thing that I have been having the hardest fish to stop eating.
That is why sometimes I give salmon to Alex. But still sometimes when I give her salmon she does not want it and reminds me that is an animal.
On the other hand, I think it is important to become aware of the benefits of a vegetarian diet not only for the animals, but for our health and for the planet.
The day we leave a hungry child in a room with an apple and a rabbit, and eat the rabbit and play with the apple, I will believe that we are carnivores.

Desde antes que Alex naciera tenía muy claro que quería educarles en el amor y respeto por los animales desde el principio. Es muy importante para mi que sean ellas las que decidan si quieren comer carne o no, pero no las engaño llamando hamburguesas, nuggets, chicha... a lo que realmente es animal muerto. Yo no tuve esta oportunidad y aunque a veces como salmón digamos que es lo único de lo que más me está costando prescindir desde que di el paso.
Es por eso que a veces le doy salmón a Alex. Pero aún así muchas veces me recuerda que es un animal y no se lo quiere comer. .
Por otro lado creo que es importante tomar conciencia de los beneficios de una dieta vegetariana, no solo para nuestra salud y los animales, sino para el planeta.
El día que dejemos a un niño con hambre en una habitación con una manzana y un conejo, y se coma el conejo y juegue con la manzana me creeré que somos carnívoros.
