He initially asked me to lunch - cos we wanted to just do something chill and low key. I told a white lie and said that I couldn’t make it for lunch any day that week cos I wanted to go for dinner with him 🤪 and lunch would have meant an hour and a half tops cos of work. We ended up going for a relaxed Spanish dinner on a Thursday night and wound up talking at a bar till almost 2am! . Spanish food has always been something I think fondly of, also because our first big holiday together was coincidentally to Spain and Portugal. There’s something about the vibe and energy of anything Spanish that just gives me a bright feeling from within ✨ (or maybe it’s the sangria who knows hahahah) . I guess my point is, during this time - whether or not you and your partner are living together, make it a point to try and do date night (dressed up yes, we tried as you can see haha) even if it’s over video call!!
