My eyes have been opened to the heroic work you all do and it has truly changed me. I will never forget the gentle and kind ways you loved on Brielle. ❤️ How you spoke to her and respected her while she was in a coma. ❤️ How you knew what to do in times of crisis and confidently took charge. ❤️ Even when your faces were covered in masks and protective face guards — you did your best to adjust and stay positive. I saw it all and felt it deeply. You are a beautiful group of individuals who deserve our utmost respect during this pandemic. I wear my mask out of respect for all of you and what you are doing to keep yourselves and us safe. 😘 Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This video was taken on the day we left the hospital when a few of the amazing PICU nurses stopped by the Neuro Trauma Unit to say goodbye. They could not believe their eyes! Brielle will never remember her time with them but her dad and I remind her how they truly saved her life. She is so grateful. We all are.
