If I only knew Zagreb was so rich in interesting stories and places, I would have gone a long time ago. To me Zagreb felt like a central European capital that mixes the Austro-Hungarian and Socialist histories of this country in a modern and beautiful city. But most importantly Zagreb feels alive all year long, unlike its coastal counterparts like Split and Dubrovnik.
