精巧なつくりの帆船模型は、帆船ファンの方を集めてしまうほど。.
6th by ORIENTAL HOTELは、神戸の@［公式］オリエンタルホテル神戸・旧居留地に由来する。
神戸は旧居留地の街であり、日本の歴史的な港町。
1868年に神戸の港が開港し、1870年旧オリエンタルホテルが建てられた。

日本の玄関口だった神戸は、その時代の新しいものや世界中の文化が船で運ばれてきた。

その当時、日本は明治初期。和と洋が入り交じる時代。海外の方々が船で日本に着いた時、最初に目にしたのが旧オリエンタルホテルだった。

ここに飾られている帆船たちは全て、実際に神戸港に出入りしていたとされる帆船のレプリカである。
更には左から右にかけて、その年代別に並んでいるというこだわり。

1995年阪神大震災の影響で崩れてしまったオリエンタルホテル。
地元の方からの熱い声が高まり"神戸復興の最後のシンボル"としてもう一度同じ場所に同じ名前でオリエンタルホテルは誕生した。

6th by Oriental Hotel is derived from the Oriental Hotel located in Kobe.
Kobe is a historic port of old settlement that opened up in 1868 following with the opening of the Oriental Hotel in 1870. .

Being an entrance to Japan, Kobe was introduced to many new findings that we’re brought through the ships that settled at the port. .

During the start of the Meiji period, Japan was introduced to a mix of western and eastern cultures brought by the settlers who arrived on these ships.
The first thing the settlers saw when they arrived was what is now the Oriental Hotel of Kobe. .
.
All the ship models here on display are the actual ship models that settled in Kobe. Starting from the left they are displayed in order of the time period.
In 1995, Kobe was struck by the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which unfortunately brought an end to the original Oriental Hotel. .
.
However with the help and support from the citizens of Kobe, a new era of the symbolic hotel oversees the port of Kobe in the name of Oriental Hotel.
