It reminded me of several things and I decided to record it down. Thought it’s quite apt to revisit this video. One thing I thought of was the act of refinement. (though not used in the context of the pic) . Precious metals like gold and silver are refined in fire by melting the metal and skimming the impurities. . Only in the fiery furnace does the impurities float to the surface to be skimmed away, leaving behind pure gold/silver. . Maybe in this season, many of us are going through the act of refinement. If we are willing, to quieten down our hearts and see any areas of our lives that’s screaming for help or sending a SOS, maybe it’s time to address them instead of constantly finding things to do as a form of distraction or to fulfil that void inside. Many times, we end up feeling really empty. May we all emerge from this season, seeing ourselves for who we truly are.❤️」4月28日 23時55分
