I feel incredibly lucky to be safe in quarantine with my family and our animals. I’m trying to focus on the potential that can come from the anguish—the chance we have to join forces for good, regardless of geography and ideological differences. It’s our shared responsibility to do what we can to help, support and appreciate those incredibly courageous people on the front lines. I’m thinking in particular about the work of the International Medical Corps, an organization I have worked and travelled with for over ten years and who are fighting so courageously to help those in need, here in the US and around the world. We need to do everything in our power to contain the virus and support scientists working on a vaccine or cure. I’m looking forward to getting to the other side of this pandemic and I never want to forget that we’ve shared something profound and deeply painful that may, in the end, bring us closer together.” The actress shares her words with the #GucciCommunity.
