For the longest time I lived according to other people’s truths of me. I used to live according to what others expected of me and I BECAME the person I thought would make everybody happy. But there was always that little voice inside telling me something was off... And because I didn’t know what to do I looked for every single way to quiet that voice, getting more and more busy, going out all the time, drinking and everything else... The truth is I didn’t know who I really was and when we live away from our truth there’s incredible suffering. My father use to tell me the world was a dangerous place and everybody is always looking for something so For years I thought I ought to be strong and fearless, “nobody messes with me” kind of way, started law school... My mother wanted me to be a pretty girl, so I went on and started modeling and then acting... and I thought I was making them happy but I was NOT. There’s great pain in not living your life purpose... Whatever you do and whatever you accomplish feels useless and shallow... you feel useless . Yoga is an incredible tool for transformation. I am incredible grateful for the awakening that yoga allowed me to go trough... I live from my deepest truth now. And that truth is not strong and rigid , my truth is soft and kind. I am never stronger than when I’m soft and gentle. I am never more clear minded and productive and active than when I stand in my truth. How do you know what your truth is? THERE’S NO SUFFERING! My truth is joy. My truth is kindness. My truth is compassion. My truth is LOVE. I honor my truth and I honor yours. ✨Happy Sunday my fellow humans!
