On our cross country road trip, @jacobwitzling and I met up with my Mom and her husband Stan who happened to be traveling around in their airstream. We’d go for quick dips in the lake to cool ourselves from the scorching sun. Then sat in the shade and listened to the new (at the time) audio book from Michael Wolff, watched the sun fade away, drank wine, played cards, talked, laughed, and made dinner. Now - parks are closed, Jacob and I are sheltering in place for I don’t even know how long it’s been anymore, and I’m missing my family. When I put it in perspective it’s really not all that bad. Things could be SO much worse and I consider us to be very lucky. But still...today I’m feeling sad, claustrophobic, and a bit lonely ☹️. Anyone else reminiscing on happier times as well?
