The thing is- with Take Away your restaurants get the full income- and if you use Delivery Apps- they may take up to 30% of the sale. Also- restaurants may raise their menu price for the same item for delivery via those apps just to make some marginal profit. . As a restaurant designer - I’m personally invested in the survival of our F&B market in Hong Kong- but don’t think about me and my designers - think about the hundreds and thousands of hospitality Front and Back of House workers supported and supporting this industry.
