Have you ever been so deeply hurt by someone or something that resentment forms in your heart or you want to hurt them back? Been there. There have also been times in my life when I didn’t let that anger/hurt/bitterness take over my heart. Just because you forgave someone doesn’t mean you forget what happened you’re just letting go of the feeling that is not allowing you to move on and allowing something else to take it’s place (peace, love, joy) Knowing how Jesus was able to forgive and then pray for the same people that put him on the cross is what changed my whole perspective.
