Memories from Morocco 🇲🇦 This was one of the most memorable and fun trips.. even though James and I were so ill because we went straight from Coachella to Morocco and everyone at Coachella got sick because we were all sharing so many drinks and partying too hard.
But Marrakech definitely holds a special place in my heart, so grateful to have made such an amazing trip like that happen with @doina and @danielpdykes.
The first night was magical, we went to a hidden restaurant in a creepy alley way and as the door opened, it was so lively. There were women in beautiful outfits dancing, the food was phenomenal. We walked through rose fields and had tea parties on the grass laying on layers of blankets and pillows. We drove 6 hours away through the Atlas Mountains which was terrifying as the roads were so thin and you could barely see 10 feet in front of you to see where they filmed Game of Thrones and I fell in love with a baby goat. I fell in a muddy river. We stayed in the most beautiful Moroccan home courtesy of our friend and ate the most delicious food every meal. We saw so much beautiful art and became pros at going to the souk market. We stayed at beautiful hotels in between. We watched Game of Thrones and drank wine while it rained loudly outside. We spent the night in a Glam tent with plumbing in the middle of nowhere and we drank so much and danced the night away to the point I was throwing up and had to get on a camel at 7am which was worth it. We then had a beautiful lunch overlooking rolling hills and watched a clever camel get out and run away. We spent nights staying in and hanging out near the pool in our garden just talking, dancing and laughing. I feel so grateful to have so many beautiful memories with James and so many of our friends. I can’t wait to make more 😭💕💕💕 #thankstotravel
