ブライトン・ゼウナーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ブライトン・ゼウナーInstagram)「this was so damn hard to write. well, here’s my shot at trying to say something about my friend, jeff. he was a kind soul - snappy, opinionated at times, most of the time - but the biggest heart, which he wore on his sleeve. jeff spent a lot of time with our family. He and the crew would come skate our old vert ramp on lone jack, then nardo quite often. I mean man, the old school vert ramp design was originally his idea and design. Skating was fun but, what started happening was we’d end the sessions with some sort of dinner that my parents and our friends Jill & Gabe would cook up. Groms, legends, pros and whomever...it was kind of a weird mix, but it worked. It worked because we had Jeff and his stories...like having your own personal, live Love Letters in your dining room. tbh, I was 9 when this all started so I didn’t understand most of it in the beginning but, over the years, it became a staple. Sometimes I’d retreat to my room, and they’d be out there for hours. And his contagious Jeff laugh would rumble and fill our home. Jeff did a lot for me. I’ll never forget it. He is a big part of my journey. He was my guard dog. He was an original, a storyteller, a skateboarder, a friend, a great son, and an amazing father. Irreplaceable. Oliver is a beautiful, kind-hearted boy...he has a lot of Jeff in him. I will do everything I can to see him through. Hopefully I can be as good to him as his Dad was to me. We had burgers at our house a few weeks ago with Jeff, Mama/Gama Rae and Oliver. Jill, Gabe and Nick were there too. Jeff showed up with a vinyl gift for Jack. He loved my brother. It was a special night. I’ll remember that last night with Jeff, along with many other great times over the years. Rest easy, our larger-than-life, beautiful friend..say hi to Grandma Weezer, Grandma Linda, Grandma Claudy & Papa Mike up there (you treated them like family).
