Revisiting old footage and seeing him spotting me makes me sad to have lost him but so thankful for the amazing years we got to spend together. For those following the race to 1000, this was number 5 from 2004. It is crazy to think that 16 years later I am 4 away from climbing 1000 boulders 8A and harder.
