The vet said to do surgery but there is a 2O-30 percent chance he will die because he’s was genetically modified to be sold for meat and his heart can’t support his artificial body weight while under anesthesia. Then he started fading in and out of consciousness recently through out the day and not eating that much ! I called animal services and they said they will take him but by law they will have to put him to sleep cause of some (air quotes) “new castle disease” that’s going around in turkeys. Never heard of it before. It’s been my mission for the last week to try to save his life. I hand feed him everyday and love on him as much as I can! We have become close.
