Facing the current health crisis, our thoughts have quickly turned to the people in our community who are most affected. With widespread school closures, and many parents out of work for the foreseeable future, the foundation that many students have come to rely on for a daily meal is at severe risk. #LibraryStreetCollective - with the generous support of @StandbyDetroit - will be providing free dinners and unique sketchbooks to Detroit Public Schools students in need beginning March 23rd. We believe that art can provide inspiration in difficult times, and in hearing about this initiative many artists have offered their creativity to the cause. Students will receive a limited edition of “WE ALL RISE,” a new sketchbook that is filled with works by #VirgilAbloh, #NinaChanelAbney, #DougAitken, #DanielArsham, #McArthurBinion, #AmoakoBoafo, #NickCave, #Dabls, #TorkwaseDyson, #ConradEgyir, #ShepardFairey, #SamFriedman, #BeverlyFishman, #FriendsWithYou, #Haroshi, #CaroleHarris, #KAWS, #EddieMartinez, #TiffMassey, #CharlesMcGee, #AllieMcGhee, #SimphiweNdzube, #JordanNickel, #JoséParlá, #JasonREVOK, #JuliaWachtel, #AustynWeiner, #WendyWhite, and #TyrrellWinston.
