I went back to the golf course today after a couple of days off. My mind has been super rattled. Had a great lesson with @theandrewpark today. This step-in drill is really helping me transfer my weight, create more power and have a smooth transition. Something I felt was missing and will work on during this extra time off. .
I made the super tough decision to stay here in the US at this moment (my stomach is still in knots). My whole family and boyfriend are in Europe and I can’t get myself to fly over there, because I’m afraid of putting others at risk, especially older people. Just can’t do it. At least not now. We’ll see how this whole situation develops. I miss them so badly. Never in my life have I experienced a restriction of my freedom. And while I’m beyond privileged, this is giving me glimpse into so many peoples’ lives that suffer from lack of freedom.
Even though there is much to be worried and stressed about at the moment (trust me, plenty of anxiety and sleepless nights over here), I still and always will choose the positives of everything that happens to me. Time to go inward, slow down, look at life from a different perspective, observe my triggers, grow, release and be happy for the LITTLE things. I baked a vanilla coconut cake. And I ate it, while watching @loveisblindnetflix - anyone with me? Also, Skype and FaceTime are a life saver.
