I decided that being social at least via apps/phone for me is what gives me most energy in this time, so here we go with my Coronoa status quo... I’m in London at the moment, where I live. I came back a few days ago from Germany. In the meanwhile the situation changed a lot in lots of couturiers and so many of you are already staying in home, being locked up in their homes and countries. Even though this always seemed like a scary scenario, I now feel even more afraid about how the situation is in UK as the government ist hoping to ‚Delay‘ the peak of the outbreak to summer (so 10-14 weeks from now!!!). In the meanwhile there’s still almost normal life in London. People are planning St. Patrick’s day and when I went to the supermarket today, trying to get at least a bit of distance in between me and the people around me, at least 30 people run into me... I’m afraid that the virus is already spreading way more than the media is telling right now and the government is not starting the measures almost all other countries are implementing... Still, I just got rid of my old apartment in Hamburg, Germany THIS MONTH so kind of a bad timing as otherwise we could have gone back to our old place. Even though the official numbers for Germany are worse, I trust the German government and our health system a lot and I know people will largely follow the rules the government will apply. It just seems harder for people in London to stop living their normal lives... Normally, I love this about the people here that they seem to enjoy life so much, now I wish everyone would think more of the bigger picture and at least try to be more careful. My parents are both in Germany and my big sister did a trip around the world the last months and will now return to Germany as travelling of course is not easy and recommended at this time. My little sister who lives in Berlin with her Fiancé will move to Hamburg so the rest of my family will be together soon...」3月15日 6時05分
