My grandmother on my mothers side battled manic depression. At the time the go-to treatment was called shock therapy. I can’t imagine the pain she endured. She raised 9 children as a single mother after my grandfather died and the youngest child was only a few months old. What a women she was! Women are so unbelievably resilient and strong. She is such a powerful example to me of finding the way through and becoming #moremyself. Let’s take care of ourselves, our minds, our souls, our mental health. #InternationalWomensDay ⁣
