Its hard to capture the massive scale of this canyon while you are walking along the frozen river at its base. Hard to believe that we would have been well under the surface of the water once the ice thaws and water begins rushing through this canyon throughout the spring/summer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is known as a slot canyon created by erosion, and can measure up to 50 Meters deep in places.
