Growing up in Hutchinson, Texas, I was one of those kids who needed an extra lunch or a ride to practice. Some days weren’t easy, and I’ll never forget the mentors that helped me along the way. What @unitedwayatlanta is doing to provide mentorship, opportunity, and empowerment for Black youth is more important than I can begin to describe. We don’t know the magnitude of our giving in the moment, but from somebody who has been there, I can tell you it matters more than you know.
