I have mixed emotions on this day. K DAY. On the one hand, I'm reminded of the naivety of my youth. A girl from Harlem who just wanted to make music. I wasn't a business person. This record on paper doesn't belong to me because like so many others before me, it was manipulated away. But that's not the story here. And, that's what I remember now. They take what they can because they must. But we, the creators, the innovators, taste makers, and just down right world changers, that's what we are. The gift, the power, the change.
