I used to hate my freckles, especially in the summertime because that’s when they show the most. I felt like they were permanent brown pimples. But then someone told me that Freckles were like kisses from the sun and it changed my perspective. I learned to embrace my freckles and saw them as extra sauce instead of an imperfection. My stage name is even Freckles now aka dafreckledpoet. This new perspective taught me that a positive mindset is key in the journey of taking the time to love myself. @dafreckledpoet
