The legendary fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent, once said: “a visit to Marrakech was a great shock to me. This city taught me colour.” Indeed, the creative pursuits of architecture and fashion share many preoccupations – line, form, material and movement, to name a few. As February’s catwalk shows get underway, we thought we’d shine a spotlight on fashion designers inspired by architecture. Here, photographer @orikhure captures Jardin Majorelle, the Moroccan botanical garden which Yves Saint Laurent purchased with his partner in 1980 to save from demolition.
