I’ve NEVER looked at food as something that is negative, I’ve never eaten a meal and felt guilty about it. I really believe that it’s all to do with the way that I was brought up.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Food is something that brings my family together and it is always celebrated. We look forward to big events because we know the food is going to be so amazing (and because we get to see our whole family too)!! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I feel nothing but excitement when I walk into my Yiayia’s house and see a loaf of fresh homemade bread and a Turkish coffee on the stove. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In saying all of this, I am always interested in other cultures, families and upbringings.
