excuse me while i interrupt your feed to stand on a soapbox for 5 seconds!! i’d just like to say happy valentine’s day to little me who thought she would never fall in love bc she thought the love she wanted was “wrong”. and bc she didn’t see that love anywhere. not on tv, not in movies, not in magazines, not in music videos, not in commercials and sure as heck not in real life. this hollister graphic tee wearing, insecure teenager grew up and she did fall in love. and the world started making those tv shows and movies and music videos and commercials. and celebrities and youtubers and instagram accounts and tik tokers showed that love in REAL LIFE. and all of that made it easier. but.. it’s still hard. and it’s still scary. and that’s okay too. happy valentine’s day to little me and to little you. or maybe you right now. you deserve to fall in love. and nothing is wrong with you. 🌹
