📷: @yasi 🤍 Sometimes it’s a big undertaking doing a two hour show and being just one person. With no dancers or group members around it means the only thing to look at is, well, me. It means being constantly exciting and engaging and compelling every single second. Sometimes I walk to stage nervous. What if I can’t do it? What if I miss a step or a word or I catch my breath wrong and all of a sudden thousands or tens of thousands of people are staring at me like I’m in class in my underwear in a bad dream? That fear dissipates the second my littlest tiniest toe touches the stage. I come alive. I have all of your energies firing at me from every angle. And I have an amazing band that gives these songs new meaning and new personalities every night. I don’t know what’s happening to me on this tour. Or why I’m shedding my skins faster than ever. But all I do know is that I am so grateful to have a home on the stage. It is, simply put, everything to me. YOU are everything to me. Thank you.
