Just a reminder to myself & to you.. What you see in the mirror does NOT define you!
I went through many years of crazy dieting and restricted lifestyle (SWIPE right), I chose my diet over my friends and the gym over my work & family time. I got lost in knowing what was HEALTHY and what was just appealing for an image. It is so easy to be influenced by people on here and it is also so easy to be mislead by people, by comparing yourself and trying to look a certain way even it its not realistic.
Yes, I have grown into the body I have now / I’m NOT lean like I used to be, I don’t remove myself from my social life, I don’t have an unhealthy relationship with food or training and I don’t compare myself to anyone! I just do me and I work on being healthy on the inside not just the exterior. I do have days where I think fuck I wish I was smaller like I used to be, and then I remind myself how much growth I’ve had since then and how healthy I am now. It takes a lot of work to get where I am mentally and that’s what I’m most proud of.
LOVE yourself at every stage of your growth and don’t be concerned with what anyone else might think of you. Your body is the only place you have to live to make it comfortable - not stressfull 🙌🏽💞
