#athletapartner My life as a female athlete began in an ice rink when I was five years old. I never could have guessed how far my sport would take me. The women that inspired me embodied the @athleta #PowerOfShe and helped me persevere through many trials.

My journey would not have been possible without the inspiration of the exemplary female athletes who came before me. I learned training was not easy, but the goddesses of sport around me certainly made it fun. Sharing in sports has brought me the best memories and most unbelievable experiences. The lessons I learned on the ice and in the gym are ones I will carry with me throughout my life.

It is my dream to inspire more young women to explore their power and keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
