Chingay has long brought together people from varied backgrounds in joyous celebration, so the theme is an apt one to mark PA’s 60th year! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The coronavirus is understandably on many peoples’ minds, but we cannot let fear stop us from carrying on with our lives. Organisers and performers have been preparing for this for months. I was very happy to see a decent turn out in the stands to view the fruits of their labour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A big thank you to @pafrenz for once again putting together a spectacular show, on top of mobilising to set up the free mask distribution points which start today. If you can’t make it for tonight’s show, fret not — the parade will be coming to the heartlands, too, including my own Ang Mo Kio GRC!
