The Opening Ceremony kicks things off with introductions of star players like Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javy Báez, beloved Cubs of yesteryear like Kerry Wood, Geovany Soto and Miguel Montero and Cubs legends and Hall of Famers. While classic events endure, like Cubs Bingo, Cubs Convention always finds ways to surprise fans with new offerings. This year players filmed content for the Cubs YouTube channel in front of a live audience and Sunday activities were expanded for family-friendly fun. Cubs Convention was the first fan convention of its kind when it began in 1986 and to this day proceeds from the event benefit #CubsCharities.
