We also remember over 100,000 people who were identified as homosexual by the Nazi regime and arrested. We remember the 50,000 who were convicted, and the 10,000 to 15,000 who were sent to concentration camps. ⠀ The category "homosexual" was used to encompass many people who were considered to live outside the boundaries of acceptable sexuality. This category included gay men, bisexual men, and trans women — many of whom were also Jewish.
